Service Description

Emergency utility payment assistance to prevent service shut-offs for those facing financial hardships. We provide direct financial assistance to ensure continued access to essential utilities for low-income families and vulnerable individuals. Important Information: EVE Outreach and Consulting, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offers programs made possible through donations, grants, and community support. Service availability depends on current funding levels. Applicants will be notified if placed on a waitlist and contacted when assistance becomes available. You may qualify if: You live in New Bern or Craven County, and You have received a late notice, court notice, or eviction notice, a disconnection notice or your utilities are already off, and You meet our income guidelines (Tier 1–3), and You are willing to enroll in and complete our Financial Literacy class as part of your assistance plan.
